Hardware that completes the joinery.

Handles, hinges, locks and fittings should suit the design, weight and everyday use of the window, door or cabinet.

HARDWARE, CONSIDERED AS A WHOLE

The small details you use every day.

Coastal BLU

Coastal’s BLU range uses 316 marine-grade stainless steel and includes coordinated door and window hardware. Product, finish and exposure should be considered together.

A finish that belongs

Match the handle, hinges, stays and visible accessories. Traditional ironmongery and contemporary fittings create very different results.

The right operation

Weight, opening direction, accessibility and locking requirements determine the fittings. Share any particular security or fire requirements at the start.

Product cover you can check.

Coastal publishes its Performance for Life guarantee for eligible BLU and DURATIQUE products. The selected product, care requirements and current terms determine the cover; it is separate from JM Joinery’s guarantee.

Recorded in your quotation

Our quotations identify the selected hinges, locks, fasteners and handles. Substitutions should be agreed before manufacture.

Care after installation

Follow the maker’s care instructions for the exact fitting and finish. Coastal provides product-specific cleaning and maintenance guidance. Avoid abrasive cleaners and use only the recommended lubricant. If you are supplying your own hardware, send the model and technical information before manufacture.

A closer look

Let’s talk through the details.

The quotation identifies the agreed hardware and who supplies and fits it. A handle or lock alone does not establish the performance of the complete product.
