Timber French doors.
Glazed double doors connect rooms, terraces and gardens. We make each set around the opening, the way you move through it and the surrounding windows and joinery.

Glazing and proportions
Full-height glazing, divided panes and boarded lower panels create different balances of light and privacy. Sidelights and fanlights can complete a wider or taller opening.
Opening and threshold details
Inward or outward opening is agreed around floor levels, furniture and exposure. Threshold, drainage and weather seals are considered as part of the complete doorset.

Timber and hardware
Timber, finish, hinges, handles and locking are chosen together. The main and secondary leaves are detailed for secure closure and convenient everyday access.
Internal double doors
Glazed timber pairs can also divide adjoining rooms. Internal doors have different sealing and performance requirements, which are confirmed for their intended position.
