We discuss suitable timber, hinges, latches and finishes for the size and exposure. The mounting arrangement is agreed with whoever is responsible for the supporting structure.

If the gates will be automated, involve the automation specialist early. Operating forces, safety equipment, foundations and power supplies need a coordinated design.
